Welcome to my site. Sorry about the mess. Move a pile and have a seat.
Beginnings are hard. For those with ADHD, they are brutal.
Why this, why now?
I’ve always wanted to be a teacher and writer. I had to fight like hell to get through school and become the former. Now, I start the fight to become the latter.
I’ve been at war with my labels for as long as I can remember. “Special Ed”, “Learning Disabled”, “Hyperactive”, “ADHD”, “Major Depressive Disorder”, “Bipolar”, “Dyscalculic”. It’s a lot, and I’ve put most of them behind me. Now, I just want to write and let my words speak for me.
What I’d like to build.
It would be amazing to build a community of like minded folks who are interested in what I have to say.
So, what will you find here?
Non-Fiction: I write about mental health issues, ADHD, teaching, politics, marriage, and fatherhood.
Fiction: My fiction includes science fiction shorts and epic fantasy. My current “work in progress” is a post-apocalyptic fantasy.
I love post-apocalyptic world building.
One of my intentions for this site is to be an outspoken advocate, not only for adults with ADHD but all of those blessed with neurodiversity.
However, in the spirit of one powered by ADHD, I’m sure I will post, write, and tweet about every shiny object I find.

Dancing Fox here. Old lady who follows you on Twitter looks forward to reading what you write. I’m a big fan of science fiction and have a weird form of ADHD. You will hit a couple of sweet spots. 😊
Big fan of shiny objects here. Looking forward to your ramblings, post-apocalyptic and political. Or is that the same thing?
